Call for FPS facilitators

RACGP Rural is seeking facilitators to help deliver online FPS ST and contribute to better mental health care for patients in rural and remote Australia.

This training package provides GPs with essential training to enable them to become a GP provider of FPS and provide cognitive behavioural therapies (CBT)-derived FPS counselling using a combination of technology, peer learning groups and locally available resources.

Facilitators must be registered GP providers of FPS and experienced in delivering CBT to patients.

Each session is held online on a weekday evening over an eight-week period. You would need to be available to deliver a total of four two-hour fortnightly sessions with up to eight participants, and will be reimbursed at the rate of $220 per session.
